How ordering works

Choose your hay online, pick how many 18-bale pallets you need, and check out. We tell you your delivery week when you order. A couple of days before that week, you'll get your delivery day and a tracking link by email and text. You don't need to be home. Our driver drops the hay, takes a photo and sends it to you. Add delivery notes if you want it in a certain spot.

Forklift delivery, no hand stacking

Our trucks carry on-board forklifts. The driver sets each shrink-wrapped pallet in your ground-level storage area, whether that's a barn aisle, a shed or a run-in. We don't hand stack or bring elevators. If local road restrictions keep our tractor trailer out, we can meet you in your town and forklift your hay into your pickup or trailer, or drop it at a neighboring farm or business.

Our hay

We don't grow hay anymore. We buy hay from growers across the US and Canada, bring it to our farm in Earlville, NY, and press the large bales into small bales of about 43 pounds. Each pallet holds 18 bales and gets shrink-wrapped. Our lineup includes New York timothy-orchard grass (1st and 2nd cutting), Western timothy, Western straight orchard grass, Western steamed alfalfa, a timothy-orchard-alfalfa mix and our SmartHay balanced pallet. We also sell wheat straw for bedding. Browse grass hay, alfalfa, hay mixes and SmartHay.

All of our hay is lab-tested

Every load of hay we sell is lab-tested. Whether you run a lesson barn in Monmouth County or keep two horses out back in Hunterdon, you'll know what you're feeding.
