This is a great service to have available to help hold over between my local hay pickups, and was much needed as the horses are going through more hay with this cold stretch. So this my 5th time getting the first cut...it is always consistent...heavy bales
Once we had a few bales with some small sticks and pieces of other than perfect hay I let them know and they replaced those bales...They aim for 100 % satisfaction...No one provides service like that...Their business model is awesome as is their customer service...The delivery is awesome too...on time weather wrapped/protected ...will be back again

The orchard grass is green and beautiful and soft and smells fresh. It takes up very little space. The bales are small but pop open and expand when you cut the straps. Our horse eats all of that first before resorting to his old hay. He’s 23 so I think this super soft grass was a good choice for him. My only issue was that the forklift was too big to fit in our Amish made barn so he slid 4 pallets down aisle and put two outside. Despite that, we will order again without hesitation.
Can't wait to order more!! I need low NSC hay for my pony with insulin resistance. I am so happy to find this hay! No more soaking!! Clean, weed free, dust free bales, the pics don't do it justice. The ponies eat every scrap, no waste at all.

HayNow is no joke! They are the REAL DEAL! The Amazon of the hay world! Just got my second delivery and as with the first, it was flawless! Kept me apprised of the driver's arrival time and he was RIGHT ON TIME! And even though our yard was a bit wet, he drove the Moffett where we asked him to so he wouldn't get stuck and he did. Put the pallets EXACTLY where we wanted them and then we had a nice chat with him, even met his dog! I have used this hay service at least 4x now, hay is good quality, compressed, bales are about 50 lbs. I have no complaints about the hay quality. However, the last delivery was left outside in the pouring rain and while the top bales were dry, the plastic didn't cover the bottom ones and they were soaked and unusable. See photos. Normally, the delivery is set down in my barn aisle. This time they missed the mark. I immediately complained but have had no response from HAYNOW.

We do ask that you indicate on your order if you want special placement of the pallets of hay, like put in barn isle, or put in indoor ring etc. Certainly we aim to please and we will make you happy but please keep in mind that we don't control the weather. I'm completely certain that the couple inches on the bottom that are show in these photos did not completely ruin the entired compressed bale. Very difficult for water to penetrate the compression of the bales. With that being said we are happy to correspond with you on email or phone about a resolution you feel is fair to both of us! We do appreciate your business and continued support! Let's hope the weather changes for the better! 😁

I am very impressed with the HayNow company! Ordering is easy, communication is top notch, and delivery was seamless.
I have 2 geriatric ponies, one of which has outlived his teeth, requiring me to provide 4x daily timothy/alfalfa pellet mashes, and safe starch forage the past 2 winters. This year I got the okay from my equine veterinarian to offer them chopped hay to supplement their winter diet.
The hay is fine and fragrant and goes through our chipper easily!I
I was fortunate to find HayNow online, as hay suppliers in my area can be hard to find anymore.
I had my first HayNow delivery a few weeks ago, and like any good horse owner, I am introducing the new (chopped) hay slowly, and so far so good! They are definitely eating it. There is nothing like good hay to help keep horses warm, as they digest it.

Lambs loving the first cut hay that we top off with alfalfa. Brings peace of mind knowing we have access to good quality hay at a moments notice during winter months when our own pastures are depleted.

Two GREAT things to say. Not only is the quality top notch, but being able to buy online and use alternate payment methods makes a huge difference for a small business. Buying hay in bulk gets you a better deal, but for a small business it’s not always possible to put out that much money up front. We have the money to buy hay each month, but not necessarily enough to purchase more than that at one time. If I use PayPal credit, I get 6 months to pay off interest free. So I can buy what I would purchase in bulk, but only pay per month what I would be paying in cash or check locally. So in reality, we are not only able to save money with the website’s bulk prices, but we end up getting more bang for our buck overall. I just a thought for others who may normally have trouble purchasing bulk amounts due to up front cost!
We have gotten multiple deliveries of first cutting and the hay is always consistent and very high quality- the mare pictured is a rescue who is very picky and she leaves her grain for her hay - all of our animals love it!!

I run a donkey sanctuary called The Donkeys Cross Rescue and Sanctuary in Bethlehem CT for dietary needs we require a good quality first cutting - this first cutting has far surpassed our expectations and every pallet has been equally consistent.
We have a variety of donkeys and horses (as well as assorted other rescued critters) and everyone loves the hay - the bales are exactly as presented and heavier than they appear so lift with your legs ;)
Zero issues with the pallets we have purchased and all are weather tight so no worries if the delivery arrives on a rainy day

On-time at a GREAT price...Wrapped to protect it from moisture and it was raining...it was dry and a very hi quality hay...not only that but it solves storage issues as well the small super compressed cube size puts a legitimate 43 pound bale in half the size cube...I know I weighed 6...44 to 48 pounds...Every hay seller brags about 40 pound bales...yea right we've all heard that one....These really are freaking heavy....the quality was excellent!!!
My horses ate every bit...why the hell would anyone want to drive to get hay pay extra to get delivered and get bales that weigh 34 pounds if yer lucky,only to watch yer horses throw it all over the turnouts and fill my manure dumpsters...ugh....this is the future of buying hay...I only hope this catches on in our area...telling everyone I know.... order on sunday get the following week...NYHAYNOW.COM...yesssss

Great experience! Talked to Ed about my hay needs and gave it a try because I have a barn full of metabolic horses that need low sugar/low starch hay. Ed explained that all the hay is tested and he was able to send me a report. The horses love it!
