Don't have photos or videos yet but absolutely the best 2 nd cutting my horses have had since I been upstate NY.. Nice green soft hay. Especially for seniors. Delivery was awesome . Kept track of where driver was and Driver Tim was super professional. . Definitely found my new hay ..You guys ROCK....

Ed and his team are AMAZING, offering one-stop shopping for a variety of hay types. Order one day and your hay is delivered the next week! Hay is compressed, 18 bales to a pallet, shrink-wrapped and placed RIGHT WHERE YOU WANT IT!! Hay is tested, clean and bales are easy to manage. What could be better?? LOOOOOOVE this service!

The ordering process was easy. The delivery and stacking was done very well! The hay is really nice and my horses who are very fussy love it There were 2 things I didn't realize though and wish I had known. One was that the hay is compressed which doesn't go as far as non compressed hay bales and the other is that I could have asked for samples before making a decision on what type of hay I wanted. I don't know if I missed this information on your website, but It would have been good to know.

Note on compressed bales vs. traditional bales, you may NOT need to feed as many compressed flakes at each feeding as they are dense and have some heft to them! The compressed bales weigh on average of 43 lbs each which is comparable to a traditional 2-string hay bale. Our main farm web-site does sell sample bales, you can reach that at www.nyhay.com/sample. The cost is $49 for a 43lb sample bales shipped in a box via UPS. Have a great summer! 😎
Better communication about delivery. The app was not updating correctly. For example, we could see the truck was parked yet our delivery was still 2 stops away and for hours before. We understand the nature of delivery the problem was communication. And this load of hay has the same excess of dust and scrapings as the last. Was hoping for better hay and service for the price paid. The driver was not at fault though believe he was irritated hearing again about the lack of communication.
Store owner replied: Hi Kim, I'm sorry we didn't meet your delivery expectations. When you tracked your order, the truck had already stopped for the evening — drivers are limited by law on daily hours, and when that happens we have to manually adjust the driver's overnight break in the tracking system. That step gets missed sometimes, and your order was delivered first stop the next morning around 5:47 a.m., so I'm confident that's what happened. We're not perfect, but we're working toward it. As for the hay: we offer a mold-free guarantee until fed. If you feel your hay should be replaced under that guarantee, please text a refund request to 315-400-2909. If the dust is from mold, we replace or refund; if it's from the hay being dry, we don't — it's harvested on the ground and isn't always perfect. We also carry hays at different price points, and please keep in mind a good portion of the cost is absorbed by trucking and delivery.

Incredible from the delivery to the excellent product. The hay is so soft, green and smells so good. From the minute I unpacked the pallet the alpacas dove in and love it - you have a customer for life - thank you. Excellent service and products all around
The communication on delivery day was excellent and accurate. The delivery person was friendly and accommodating. The hay was bundled and well protected with shrink wrap. The hay is compressed, while the bales look small, the bale expands when opened. The hay itself is soft, an interesting green that is very different than eastern hay because it dries faster, so maintains the color. My horses were skeptical at first, but then liked it. Some bales had more dust that others, such is the nature of hay. Because it is rebaled, it is a bit chaffy but if you pick it up a certain way, the flakes hold together. It is a viable alternative to buying local hay during difficult years where the local quality is not available.
The experience was great! It's easy to order. The updates on delivery are excellent. Once the delivery is on it's, you can track the driver so you know exactly when it's arriving. The hay is excellent and needless to say, my horses love it!
